BTW, the only method to protect yourself from irritative calls and spy gadgets is to use Cell Phone Jammers

Thanks for the feedback Jon. I have identitified a difference with how flash runs on x64 based machines. I am testing updated code now. The next version of the counter (1.2) will fix issues with the x64 machines. I will send all registed users an e-mail when this is released. I may and try and contact some of you to test the revised gadget on your machines.
In the mean while anyone else that is having issues, please register and leave a message with as much information R.E. the problem you are having.

Thanks Again,

I'm running Vista x64 Business. It also shows up as a red X for me. When I add it to the sidebar, I get a prompt to install Adobe Flash Player. No matter what I click (install or not), it just shows the red x. It asks every time I add it. If I tell it to trust Adobe and install, it still stays as a red X.

I'm running Vista Business x64 (on a Core2Duo machine). I get the red X. When I add the gadget to the sidebar, I'm prompted to install Adobe Flash Player (even though most current version is already installed). Clicking Install or Don't Install yields the same results. It doesn't do anything, and displays a red X. I can still configure the gadget, but it doesn't change the x.

First of all sorry for the time it has taken me to post back to this comment.

The time has to be entered into the gadgets settings in UK format (i.e. dd/mm/yy or 03/03/2008) then press 'Ok', the counter should then reload with the correct count down.

If this is not working there may be a bug, please register specifiying your e-mail address and I will get back to you to sort it out.

Thanks,
Green2Go

Can you please help me? I downloaded this, and when i go to settings and i type in the display text and the date (yes the correct date format) and then i click OK it doesn't do anything. do i have to figure out how many hours minutes and seconds until the date??? because that would take too long...
so why does it not do anything when i click ok?
