I’m running windows vista 64 bit and when i try the above fix i get the error

‘C:/Program’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

HELP!

Hi all.
Maybe this is off-topic, but I try anyway

When running Captiva on a Windows7 x32, and logged in as a domain account, I am not able save the captured files at all.Even weh ntrying to save on my own desktop, nothing happens, and title in captivate just says the “untitled*.cp” When logging in at another Win7 pc ,also joined to a domain, I have no problems. All versions are the same in both environments. In both cases,I´m am running as an administrative user. Fiddling with UAC has no effect. All compatablity modes have been tried, no luck.I have seen this error mentioned one single place, but no solution posted. If this sounds familar, I would love to hear about it

Sorry for the delayed reply, I’ve been away. [Yes, they unchained me from my desk!]

You’ve probably already found answers to your questions, however:

1) Should look like C:\>C:\Program Files..

2) Yes, you do.

Hope this helps, I will update this post with newer instructions and screen shots when I get a minute, it’s proving to be quite popular.

Every time I try to do this I get this error: ‘Program’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

And because I don’t use command prompt much, I have 2 newbie questions:

1) Do you have to type the C again? Should it look like C:\>C:\Program Files… or C:\>Program Files…

2) My MSAudio.dll file is in the Program Files (x86) folder, not the Program Files folder. Do I need to type the (x86)?

I’ve tried all sorts of ways to type this and none of it is working. Help!

For the first step rather than searching you can also go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt, then right click on Command Prompt from there.
