I’ve just been going through some of my visitors comments / posts and viewing thier blogs & sites. I’ve come across an interesting article regarding another ‘hidden’ feature that MS has embeded into Windows 7 without any management tool. (Typical!)

VirtualRouter

I quote from the authors site:

“On Windows 7, you may have noticed the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter.  This is automatically installed when you have a wireless adapter.  You may have also noticed that you can’t do anything with it!  What the virtual wireless adapter does is allow you to essentially multiples your wireless adapter to join more than one network at once.  As a matter of fact, you can also use it to share your connection.  That’s right!  You can actually host a wireless network from your PC!”
