ASUS UL30JT – “Not coming to the UK”

Following on from my last post about the UL30JTs Pre-Release in Taiwan, I have now been advised by one of ASUSs UK resellers – SimplyASUS.com – that the UL30JT won’t actually be coming to the UK, I quote:
“Dear Oliver
It will not come to the UK.
We have CULV 12” 13” and 15” Notebooks.
Attached is the full pricelist.

The worst point is that all of the laptops on the ‘price list’ are Core 2 Duos, no Core i5s?? Are they just trying to shift older stock or is the UL30JT really not coming to the UK??
Either way your best bet to get one is to head east bound at around 35,000ft and pick one up from Taiwan. If anyone goes please let me know!
[UPDATE 14/05/2010] Thanks to a few inbound links I’ve found that you can buy the UL30JT in the Netherlands for £820 at Notebookshop.nl or Microland.nl, they don’t seem to offer shipping options to the UK.
